What Is
Refractive Lens Exchange
Refractive lens exchange (RLE) involves the removal of the clear lens of your eye, replacing it with an intraocular lens (IOL) implant in order to restore vision and reduce the need for glasses and/or contact lenses.
This treatment is recommended for those who are better candidates for Lens based surgery (i.e. RLE) as opposed to corneal-based laser vision correction (i.e. LASIK or PRK).
We offer options for all refractive error conditions.
